We need your help! We are holding a practical conservation day on Tuesday 18th October, and would really appreciate some extra hands to help out.
Alongside our project partners, The National Trust, we will be repairing badly eroded parts of the riverbank at Fingle Bridge. This will protect the bank from further erosion, reduce the loss of sediment into the river, and will protect the spawning grounds at this site.
Any amount of time you can give, whether it’s for an hour or the whole day, would be really appreciated and we would love to see you there. We can provide tools, you’ll just need to bring sturdy boots and warm/waterproof clothes. There will be a range of tasks on the day, we can find something to suit everyone whatever your age or ability.
If you’d like to come along, or would like more info, please message firstname.lastname@example.org.
