We are incredibly lucky to be working with Peter Randall-Page on the Teign Restoration Project. Peter is a British sculptor and a selection of his public sculptures can be found in many locations throughout the UK including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol, Oxford and Cambridge and his work is in the permanent collections of the Tate Gallery and the British Museum amongst others.
Peter lives in the Teign Valley, very close to the river. In this excellent video, Peter tells us more about what inspires him, and how he will be helping local children to better understand and appreciate the magic and the beauty of the Teign. There is some incredible footage in this short film, and we really hope that this work will help to inspire the future generation to find out more about the river and learn how to look after it.
Our thanks to Peter and all at Make Southwest for this film, and we look forward to seeing the salmon drawings in the coming few months!
